Study Desk Demise? New White Paper on the Benefits of Active Learning

New white paper discussing the benefits of active learning

Active Learning – More to university life than a Study Desk

“What I hear I forget, what I see I remember, what I do I understand”

As universities come under pressure from increased fees and online alternatives such as MOOC’s (Massively Open Online Courses), there is a growing need to make physical learning spaces an engaging and enjoyable environment in which the most effective learning outcomes can be achieved. This means the end of just a study desk, and the introduction of collaborative furniture!

Read our new White Paper outlining the case for moving beyond the traditional lecture theatre and study desk to student-centred learning spaces, where students are set tasks that actively engage them in finding solutions through a mixture of instruction, discussion and various team working methodologies.
